Participate in Stanford Pride's Oral History Project
Thank you for your interest in our project. Thanks to a grant from Stanford Associates, we will collect during 2015 a number of stories from LGBTQ alums in various formats: written submissions or interviews, as well as audiovisual interviews.
There are many ways for you to contribute. You may have your own stories about your time at Stanford, or your thoughts on how things have evolved snce then. You may be keen to interview other people and help capture their memories. You may know how to use a camcorder, or you may even have professional experience with storytelling or documentary filming and editing. Or you can lend a hand to editing and organizing the materials we will collect. In all cases, we want you!
To participate in any such capacity, please fill out and submit the form below, and we will contact you. We expect the major part of the work to happen between April and September 2015.
Please provide your first and last names
Degree(s) and class year(s)
Please list your Stanford degrees and corresponding class years. For example, "BA '74, MS '76". Or indicate "Faculty," "Staff" or other affiliation with Stanford. In all cases, please indicate years.
Where do you live?
City and state, or city and country. We need to know where you are in order to match you with interviewers, interviewees or other volunteers.
Please give us the best e-mail address to contact you.
It will help us to be able to contact you by phone. Please provide the best phone number to reach you during the day. Include the country code if needed, for example "+44 77 9999 9999" for a number in the UK.
