All categories (including CBS and Oceanside Glass) will compete for Best of Show - $250 in cash award and ribbon. There will also be ribbons for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd and $50 for 1st in each category, $35 for 2nd in each category and $25 for 3rd in each category. Each submission may win more than one ribbon and cash prize. In addition, there will be a ribbon for the People’s Choice award.

CATEGORIES: This year’s categories include ALL techniques regardless of the category you are in:
VESSEL: Art glass created to act as a container or vessel over 4" tall i.e. bowls and vases
SCULPTURE: 3 Dimensional object or assemblage designed to be viewed from all sides, usually non-functional
WALL ART: Construction, wall mounted or framed glass art meant to be displayed on a wall, or hung in a window
NOVICE: Artist must have less than 2 years exhibition experience in any type of glass
MIXED MEDIA/WEARABLE ART: Work that features glass as a key element to the design, or as a focal aspect to the piece in combination with other mediums and art that can be worn as jewelry or art-to-wear.

SPECIAL CATEGORIES:
Coatings By Sandberg - Dichroic Glass Category:
Awards will be given as a gift certificate. $300 for 1st place, $200 for 2nd place, $100 for 3rd place.
Entry must contain at least 25% CBS glass and anything else. A high resolution digital (1 meg. or 300dpi to 8.5x11 inch) image must be submitted with each entry or it will not be accepted. This is required by CBS for their use in advertising and promotion. The same costs, rules and restrictions as all other categories apply. To enter, indicate “CBS Dichroic Category” on the application and sign the “CBS” release form.
Oceanside Glass & Tile Special Category:
Awards will be given as a gift certificate. $500 for 1st place, $300 for 2nd place, $200 for 3rd place.
Artwork must contain at least 51% Oceanside Glass & Tile product. A high-resolution digital (1 meg. or 300dpi to 8.5x11 inch) image must be submitted with each entry or it will not be accepted. Oceanside Glass & Tile retains all rights for the publication and promotion of the artists’ entries.
The same costs, rules and restrictions as all other categories apply. To enter, indicate “Oceanside Special Category” on the application and sign the “Oceanside Glass & Tile” release form.
Oceanside Glass & Tile Emerging Artist Category:
Enter your best effort (one) executed in any technique. Qualifications: 2 years or less experience in glass. Awards will be given as a gift certificate. $500 for 1st place, $200 for 2nd place.
Artwork must contain at least 51% Oceanside Glass & Tile product. A high-resolution digital (1 meg. or 300dpi to 8.5x11 inch) image must be submitted with each entry or it will not be accepted. Oceanside Glass & Tile retains all rights for the publication and promotion of the artists’ entries.

ART WORK MUST BE DELIVERED DISPLAY READY - NO ASSEMBLY REQUIRED ! All wall art must be displayed using the Gallery hanging system. No nails, screws or saw tooth hangers.
AGASC board requires that everyone entering the show must volunteer for one position and sit the show for one day (5 hours). If they cannot, they must pay $50 sitting fee.
