What is the Save the Data Crew?

We are an informal group of researchers, students, and technologists who are passionate about saving Federal data from deletion by identifying, documenting, and collecting Federal data. Organization and coordination is provided by the Massive Data Institute at Georgetown University as a way to continue the effort kicked off through the Save the Data event. Any questions or comments can be directed to mdiresearch@georgetown.edu.

What would I be signing up for?

By completing this short form, you are expressing interest in using your skills to assist with identifying, documenting, and collecting Federal data. We will use the information in the form to help you identify ways you can help the Save the Data effort, with as little as 15 minutes of your time.

How will you use my information?

We will not share your information with any outside organizations. We will only use it for Save the Data Crew coordination and communication, including How To's and event invitations.
