Novice level skills, course walking and handling – Tuesday 3rd July 2018 (9.00am – 5.00pm)
For dogs and handlers who are either nearly ready, already training or competing at Novice Level. No matter which handling system you follow, there are commonalities in all of them in how to choose and then communicate the best path for your dog. Learn more handling skills and build on the skills you already have. In this course you will not only look at some handling that you already know but will pick up some new ones as well. We’ll look at your timing, your position on the ground, your motion and most importantly your connection with your dog and how to transfer all of that to your dog as information going forward and trying out your skills on the novice courses.

Excellent/Masters level skills, course walking and handling – Wednesday 4th July 2018 (9.00am – 5.00pm)
For dogs and handlers training or competing at Excellent/Masters Level. No matter which handling system you, there are commonalities in them all in how to choose and then communicate the best path for your dog.

In this session you’ll work on various handling skills, learn more about walking courses, looking at all your options as a handler and then making educated decisions for you and your dog. You’ll also be looking at not only the dogs path but the handlers path as this may and will vary for every dog, choosing handling options again that will suit your dog to maintain the best line around a course. The big focus will be put on your connection with your dog, are you connected? Are you supporting every obstacle as well as the correct handler motion? All these things are very important to maintain running as a team at today's Level. You will be tested while supported within a Masters Course.

* Excellent/Masters workshops are independent of each other and handlers may choose to do either or both days.
