VCTM Affiliate Grant
The VCTM Affiliate Grant provides a grant of up to $1500 to support and strengthen affiliate organizations of VCTM by building memberships and revenues, by promoting innovative projects that help make VCTM and affiliate groups more visible to public and educational partners and by supporting the initiatives of NCTM and VCTM.

Grant Details
The purpose of this grant is to provide reimbursement for :

  - a new initiative for your affiliate (i.e., a math contest for students)
  - professional development for teachers provided by the affiliate
  - mentorship or sponsorship of an affiliate
  - other innovative ideas for building and strengthening affiliate membership

The recipient of the grant is responsible for submitting a receipt of cost to the VCTM treasurer.

Recipients of the grant are required to:
  • Share results of the initiative by attending a meeting of affiliate delegates, 
  • Write and submit an article for publication to the Virginia Mathematics Teacher, and
  • Present at a VCTM conference.
All applications must be received by March 31, 2024, and will be notified by April 15, 2024 of the committee's decision.  A list of expenses and receipts must be received by VCTM on or before June 30, 2024.
