The Special Service Area (SSA) #26 installs branded bike racks throughout the SSA district to increase bike parking options in the neighborhood. If there is a location that would benefit from a bike rack, please complete the form below for consideration. 

Edgewater Bike Racks are funded by SSA #26 and installed in coordination with CDOT. Your business will not need to purchase or install these. Just submit your location request and leave the work to us!

Please note:
A request does not guarantee a bike rack will be installed at a location.

Eligible Properties
Locations must be within the SSA #26 district to be eligible for a bike rack. The boundaries of the SSA #26 district include: 
  • Broadway from Foster to Devon
  • Devon from Broadway to Glenwood (including all four corners of Glenwood)
  • Granville from Broadway to Kenmore
  • Bryn Mawr from Broadway to Kenmore
  • Ridge from Bryn Mawr to Magnolia
  • Berwyn from Broadway to Winthrop
  • Thorndale from Broadway to Winthrop 
  • All other east/west streets between Foster and Devon will include sidewalks up to the CTA tracks on the east. All east/west streets within the area will include the area up to the first alley on the west.
