Thanks to a partnership with Google, HerWILL is now able to provide Google Career Certificate scholarships to people who can benefit most from this job training. Google Career Certificates provide people with access to in-demand jobs through rapid re-skilling without the need for a college degree or prior experience in the fields of:
- Cybersecurity
- Data Analytics
- Digital Marketing & E - Commerce
- IT Support
- Project Management
- UX Design
These certificates were developed and taught by Google employees, and are hands-on, practical, and rigorous. They can usually be completed in under six months part-time through a Coursera Curriculum. These certificates are self study, and are valued around $250! Completion of these certificates will also enable certificates to be shared to your LinkedIn and access to the Google Employer Consortium - employers that partner with Google Grow to hire certificate grads. This micro-scholarship is open to the following:
- High School Students (11th to 12th grade)
- Undergraduate, Graduate, or New Grad Student (Bootcamp/Self-Taught included)
- Entry Level Professional
- Mid-Career Professionals looking to upskill
- Entrepreneurs/Small Business Owners
- Anyone stuck at home and trying to re-skill
While these scholarships are sought after, they are limited. These scholarships will be distributed as fairly and as equitable as possible, with HerWILL prioritizing high-intent students who come from underrepresented backgrounds.
