As a mentee I will set and maintain appropriate boundaries and expectations for my mentor relationship. I will reach out to church staff if there's ever a cause for concern. I understand that mentorship is not to replace friendship or regular Christian community but is a short-term investment in my faith journey. I recognize that my mentor has a full life and other responsibilities and may not have all the answers and so will always engage with him with an attitude of gratitude, seeking out ways to bless and encourage him in his journey as well. *
