1. Members will respond to all event invitations within the specified deadline. *

2. Members will adhere to the DRESS CODE as specified on the invitation and described in the BY-LAWS.  Members out of dress code who refuse to modify their attire may not be allowed to attend the event.  Clothing, with the exception of outerwear, may not be removed during the course of the evening. *

3. Members must arrive on time and stay at the event until dismissed by the chaperones.  Special circumstances that require late arrivals or early departures must be requested by the PARENT/GUARDIAN prior to the event.  Latecomers will not be allowed entry, EVEN IF THEY RSVPed, and their parents will be notified.  Members who leave early without prior approval will be subject to dismissal from the organization. *

4. Members will not bring mobile phones into any Cotillion Event, except Mother-Daughter Tea.  All handbags/purses will be checked in upon entry at Fall Party, Winter Ball and Spring Party. *

5. Use and/or possession of alcohol, drugs, and/or cigarettes, including vaping devices are prohibited at Cotillion events.  Any member or her guest using, in possession, or appearing to be under the influence of any of these substances shall be picked up by a parent/guardian and will be subject to dismissal from the organization. *

6. Members will respectfully comply with the reminders and instructions of chaperones and volunteers at all Cotillion events.  Refusing to comply and/or disrespectful behavior will result in dismissal from the organization. *

7. Members will conduct themselves with propriety at all times.  Members will not engage in provocative dancing, inappropriate public displays of affection, vulgar or belligerent language, purposeful destruction of property, or any type of disruptive behavior.  Such conduct will result in removal from the premises and/or  dismissal from the organization. *

8. ANY DAMAGE CAUSED BY A MEMBER AND/OR HER GUEST WILL BE THE RESPONSIBILITY OF THAT MEMBER AND HER PARENT/GUARDIAN. *

9. ALL GUESTS are subject to the same behavior expectations as Cotillion members.  Members are responsible for the behavior of their guests, and as such, should choose their escorts carefully.  Guests may be banned from future Cotillion events for non-compliance. *

10. Conroe Junior Cotillion, its volunteer Board, and its members may not be held liable for any injuries incurred at Cotillion events. *

11. Conroe Junior Cotillion has a ZERO TOLERANCE policy regarding posts or comments on ANY social media platform that are negative towards the organization, its Board Members, the Cotillion members and their families, or any individual or entity working with the organization.  Violation of this policy will lead to IMMEDIATE termination of membership. *

12. The Conroe Junior Cotillion Board has the discretion to take whatever action it deems appropriate, including suspension and/or termination of membership, where a member, her parents, and/or her guest displays any behavior that could be interpreted as inconsistent with the mission and purpose of the organization as described in our yearly Etiquette Workshop and current BY-LAWS. *

13. Any dismissal from the organization related to violation of this Conduct Agreement is PERMANENT.  No refunds will be issued. *
