Before proceeding please confirm that you have tried these troubleshooting options:

1. Ensure the iPad is connected to your home wifi.

2. If the iPad is not connecting to GlobalProtect, follow the suggestions on the APS website for troubleshooting Global protect.  (

3.  Basic troubleshooting - 1) restart the iPad completely - power off, 2) close and reopen the app in question, 3) reinstall the app in question from the app catalog to refresh the app. (

4. Remember APS resources can be accessed from any device including a laptop, a personal iPad or cell phone. In ANY browser go to and log in using the student’s APS credentials.
