2023 Summer Camp Registration
July 11-13, 2023 - Summer Camp - Located at Luther Park Camp near Danbury, WI. 

Register early! Registrations taken on a first-come, first-served basis. Complete the registration form (one per camper), submit and send payment to the Extension Office in your county (addresses below). 
Registration deadline: June 11, 2023

Open to all youth ages 8-11! 

Cost is set by each county. 
Burnett County Residents: $140/camper with 50% camperships available from clubs, individual donors, and non-profit organizations. Indicate below if you need a campership. Burnett County Campers: Make check payable to: Burnett County 4-H Adult Leaders. List in the Memo "4-H Camp." Mail to: Extension Burnett County 7410 County Road K, #107, Siren, WI 54872. 

Douglas County Residents: $70/camper Douglas County Campers.  Make check payable to Douglas County 4-H Leaders Association. Mail to Douglas County Extension, 1313 Belknap Street, Room, 107, Superior, WI 54880. Please contact Katie at 715-395-1365 if you are in need of a scholarship to pay for camp.

Washburn County Residents: $140 non-4-H members*; $70/camper for Washburn County 4-H members who have enrolled by May 1st. * indicate below if you need a campership. Make check payable to: Washburn County 4-H Adult Leaders. List in the Memo "4-H Camp." Mail to: Extension Washburn County c/o 4-H  PO Box 305 Shell Lake, WI 54871. 

You can submit one check per family for all camp registrations. If paying cash, please submit payment directly to office during normal business hours. 

After registration closes more information will be sent to registered families.

We want camp to be a positive experience for all. In order to do that, parents/guardians and camper will sign a behavior expectation agreement. It’s important to understand if the behavior agreement is not upheld, the Camp Directors will follow through with consequences outlined in the agreement and no refund will be offered. 

Youth will be housed in cabins with bunkbeds with youth of the same gender and age supervised by camp counselors of same gender. Youth will participate in camp programs/activities in a mixed gender program group.  Youth will be supervised by WI 4-H Program Staff and adult 4-H volunteers.

Cabin Mate Preference - we want campers to make new friends at camp and also realize that sometimes it's helpful to have someone you already know in your same cabin. Do you have anyone you want to request to be in your cabin? 
Siblings/Classmates - we recognize that sometimes issues result if youth spend too much time together with the same people (siblings or classmates). Please indicate here if you want siblings or classmates to be housed in separate cabins. 
Are there other health (physical, emotional, social) concerns that we should be aware of to help your camper to have a positive camper experience? Examples of things to share: my child... prefers a noise machine, feels safer if there is a night light in the cabin, needs transition time, prefers to know schedule, etc.

Are you a registered 4-H member in 4-HOnline? *If no, we will send a simplified enrollment form with other paperwork, this does not mean you need to participate in other 4-H activities. It is a invitation to check out more of what 4-H has to offer. It is also a way for us to ensure we have liability coverage for all participants.
