If you have reached this point, it means that you have come into contact with the HUCI Project and have seen that we have made available to critical care professionals a manual of good humanization practices. Our ultimate goal is to humanize intensive care units and to this end we are making this tool available to you with the aim of disseminating humanization practices in intensive care.

In line with these objectives, we think it is important to know the degree of presence of good humanization practices both at Spanish and international level. Having this "snapshot" is useful both to know the prevalent areas for improvement and so that each of the units that complete the form can compare themselves with the average of what occurs in the Spanish and international environment. To this end, it will be necessary to incorporate the data from each questionnaire, anonymized, into a common database for the purpose of analyzing them as a whole.

For this reason, we would like to inform you that, by answering this questionnaire, you give your consent for us to incorporate your answer to the aforementioned database, and thus analyze all the questionnaires we receive as a whole.

We will use the data, always anonymously, in the following way:

- To elaborate a report at Spanish national level and at international level, of the degree of implementation of good practices in humanization. This report will be sent to you so that you can compare yourself.
- To elaborate at least 1 communication to a Spanish national congress and 1 communication to an international congress.
- To elaborate at least 1 descriptive article on the situation of good practices in humanization at the Spanish national level and at the international level.

Again, at no time will the questionnaire you have answered be associated with data that can identify you or your unit.
