We have two A level (or equivalent) placements and two undergraduate placements available. Please note these are unpaid placements and you will need to make your own way to the Garden each day and provide your own lunch.

We have a number of other more flexible opportunities for students to get involved. If you are interested in volunteering at the Garden outside of this work experience week, please indicate which activities you would be interested in and we will be in touch with more details. *

Phenology monitoring programme- help us monitor the seasonal changes such as bud burst, flowering and leaf loss throughout the year

Wildlife monitoring including moth trapping- help us monitor the wildlife calling the Garden their home

Student science explainers programme- get trained to engage with visitors at the Garden about the latest research on plants

House Plant sustainability challenge - help us engage with visitors around horticultural sustainability
