Please look back at the description of WINTERING on our site. In 4 words, what draws you to this program? *
Now, in one short paragraph, what do you most hope to gain from your time Wintering in Maine?
*
Writing is at the heart of our Wintering program. You don't have to be an expert writer to sign up; you just need a felt desire to write. We'll experiment with a range of genres and workshop models. Tell us a bit about your relationship to writing and how you hope to cultivate that relationship during your time in Maine.

All programs at Seguinland Institute are oriented toward wide-angle questions of the good life. We want this to be a place where you learn to love the big questions and live into them. Name two of your biggest questions about how one goes about living a good life?
*
When you look out at the world we are living in today, what one or two issues are you most concerned about? What brings you the most hope for our world in the 21st Century?   *
Living in intentional community is central to the Seguinland Institute experience.  In your experience and observations thus far what qualities allow a community to flourish? *
Good food is a big part of Wintering well. Meal times here require you to gather, cook, & clean with others. Foodie newbie? That’s OK! Just bring a willingness to learn & lend a hand. In a couple sentences, briefly share a story of a favorite recipe or a memorable time you participated in a meal. *
Do you have any dietary restrictions, allergies or preferences that we should be aware of? GF? Vegetarian? Vegan? Kosher? We are happy to accommodate.   *
Carefully read our Student Policies & Expectations on the "About" page on Seguinland Institute's website. Name one of the student expectations that most stands out to you. Describe what it would it mean to hold yourself to this expectation at this juncture in your life? *
How did you hear about the Wintering program at Seguinland? Please be as specific as possible.  If you found us through a Google search, do you recall what you searched for?   *
Please provide one reference, someone who can speak to the ways that Wintering is a fit for you. In general, this should be a teacher or professor or possibly an employer. Please provide name, email address, institutional affiliation and in what capacity you have known the person. *
By checking this box below, I state that I have read and understood the entire "About" page on Seguinland Institute's website, including our Essential Eligibility Requirements & Student Policies & Expectations, and that I agree to the stated Policies & Expectations as well as the Terms and Conditions of Program Refunds. *
