The Irish leg of the 2025 World Naked Bike Ride,
which happens in Cork starting at 2.30pm on Saturday 23rd August.
The ride is a joyful celebration of the beauty and power of our
bodies, which have been locked down for so long we need to express our
freedom as never before.
Our road safety message needs to be shouted from the saddle, with our
nakedness emphasising how vulnerable we are on roads dominated by car
culture.
Our event also sends a climate awareness message, challenging the
reliance on fossil fuels. Since the Russian invasion of Ukraine, this
message has additional resonance.
Essential details
The ride starts and ends at the same location. You can leave your
belongings there as the space will be supervised.
Neither the location of the start nor details of the route will be

You will receive details of where to go by text message on the day of
the ride, shortly before the ride starts.
The ride will take between 90 minutes and two hours to complete,
depending on traffic conditions. The route will not be challenging,
and we will cycle at an easy pace.
By participating in the ride, you consent to the following.
1. To do nothing to bring the ride into disrepute.
2. To stay clothed until the stewards say it is time to undress.
3. To obey the stewards' instructions.
