3. Collect birth certificates (if needed, Becca will let you know)
4. Issue your Cash Calendar tickets

    Fees

    The following are the MEYHA Registration fees: $0 Termites $0 Mini-Mites (Popsicles) $60 Mites $70 Squirts/10U $80 Peewees/12U $90 Bantams **There is a $25 City of Hoyt Lakes fee that the association is paying for ALL players this year.** (NOTE: Registration fees go toward the cost of ice time for practices, games, and tournaments, referees for home games and tournaments, a jersey to use for the season -- additional equipment is available for all levels, Termites & Mini-Mites/Pops are free, Mites and above pay a rental fee.)

    Additional Requirements (Level: Mini-Mites/Popsicles ONLY)

    Mini-Mites/Popsicles families are asked to complete ONE (1) Hockey Hut shift prior to their Home Jamboree, so that they are familiar with the operations of the Hockey Hut prior to running their event.

    Additional Requirements (Levels: Mites-Bantams)

    In addition to the fees for Registration, we ask families to contribute in the following ways, each explained below. 1. Volunteer Fee ($150) 2. Cash Calendar Fundraiser ($200) 3. Hockey Hut Fee ($150)

    1. Volunteer Fee (Levels: Mites-Bantams)

    Each family will include $150 with their Registration fee. This fee is paid back to you (via check from the Treasurer) upon completion of 20 volunteer hours. Volunteer hours are earned in the following ways: ~Home Games (Announcer, Books, Clock, Penalty Box) ~Tournaments (Running the tourney games with the above jobs, Hockey Hut hours are consider "Volunteer Hours" during tournaments, Raffle table (if running a raffle)) ~Team Managers Other opportunities are available, too, as needs arise throughout the season. ALL Volunteer Hours are tracked through the use of DIBS on the website. You MUST register on the www.meyha.org site and claim your DIBS items (each job is listed). First come, first serve. Once your 20 hours are completed, you contact the treasurer to let him/her know your hours are done and he/she will cut you a check, reimbursing the $150. TOTAL (NET) COST TO YOU: $0

    2. Cash Calendar Fundraiser (Levels: Mites-Bantams)

    Each family will receive 10 Cash Calendar tickets to sell, for $20 each. The Association collects this money up front, a total of $200 per family (not per player), since the prizes are cash. Reimburse yourself as you sell the tickets. TOTAL (NET) COST TO YOU: $0

    3. Hockey Hut Fee (Levels: Mites-Bantams)

    Each family will include $150 with their Registration fee ON A SEPARATE CHECK. This fee is either HELD or CASHED, depending on your choice of OPTION 1 or OPTION 2, below: **NEW - REDUCED NUMBER OF SHIFTS, due to an increase in the overall number of families in our association, we are able to decrease the number of shifts this year, from 8 to 6!** Option 1: Families are asked to cover 6 shifts, which is made up of 4 Ranger Shifts and 2 Youth or High School Shifts in the Hockey Hut during the Hockey Hut Season (Sept 1st-May 1st). This is approximately 12 hours. (Separate from the 20 Volunteer Hours.) These shifts are tracked in DIBS. Claim your shifts on a first come, first serve basis. The $150 check is HELD if you choose this option. This original check is either returned to you or destroyed upon completion of the 6 shifts. Contact the Treasurer once you have completed your shifts. TOTAL (NET) COST TO YOU: $0 Option 2: Families are asked to cover 6 shifts via "buyout". The $150 check is immediately cashed and your Hockey Hut shifts will be covered by someone else (possibly an individual or group the association may need to hire to cover the requirements of our lease with the City of Hoyt Lakes).
