Bella Vista Community Fund Application
Neighbors helping neighbors. With generous support from the San Francisco Foundation, the goal of the fund is to provide emergency relief and business loans to neighbors in the Bella Vista neighborhood of Oakland. Local neighbors donate to the fund to have a sustainable source of funds to give to applicants. Examples of grants include but are not limited to utility bills, back rent, auto/mechanic costs, re-entry costs (interviews/transportation to job), and dental costs. We generally do not fund cell phone bills, car payments, or cable bills. Average size of awards are $200. Approximately $500 is given out each month.
