1. Purpose of Coaching

Life coaching is a collaborative, goal‑oriented process designed to support personal growth, clarity, and forward movement. Coaching is not therapy, counseling, or any form of mental health treatment. Coaches do not diagnose, treat, or assess mental health conditions.

2. Confidentiality

Your privacy is important. Comprehensive Solutions LLC agrees to maintain the confidentiality of all information shared during coaching sessions, with the following exceptions:

Risk of harm: If you disclose intent to harm yourself or others.

Abuse or neglect: If you disclose abuse or neglect of a minor, elderly person, or vulnerable adult.

Court order: If a court legally compels disclosure.

Consent: If you provide written permission to share information with a third party.

Outside of these exceptions, your information will not be shared, sold, or disclosed.

Coaching notes, scheduling information, and communication records are maintained securely and used only for service delivery and business operations.

3. Coach Responsibilities

The coach agrees to:

Maintain professional boundaries and ethical conduct.

Provide a supportive, nonjudgmental environment.

Offer guidance, tools, and accountability aligned with your goals.

Communicate clearly about the coaching process and expectations.

Refer you to appropriate professionals if your needs fall outside the scope of coaching.

4. Client Responsibilities

You agree to:

Attend scheduled sessions on time and prepared.

Communicate honestly and openly.

Take responsibility for your decisions, actions, and outcomes.

Understand that coaching is a partnership, not a guarantee of results.

Notify the coach of any concerns about the coaching relationship.

5. Boundaries of the Coaching Relationship

To maintain a healthy, ethical coaching environment:

Coaching is not a crisis service.

Coaching does not replace therapy, medical care, legal advice, or financial advising.

Communication outside sessions (email, text, or messaging) is limited to scheduling, brief check‑ins, or clarifications.

The coach will not engage in dual relationships that compromise professionalism (e.g., romantic, financial, or social relationships outside coaching).

Sessions may be rescheduled with appropriate notice according to the cancellation policy.

6. Communication & Technology

Coaching may occur via phone, video, or online platforms. While reasonable measures are taken to protect privacy, you acknowledge that electronic communication carries inherent risks.

7. Termination of Coaching

Either party may end the coaching relationship at any time. The coach may also terminate coaching if:

The client requires services outside the scope of coaching.

Boundaries are violated.

The coaching relationship is no longer productive or appropriate.

8. Acknowledgment

By checking this box you are signing digitally and continuing with coaching services, and you acknowledge that:

You understand the nature and limits of coaching.

You understand the confidentiality policy and its exceptions.

You agree to the boundaries and responsibilities outlined above.
