Every year, HCCG hosts Consult for a Cause, a consulting hackathon involving a non-profit organization. This year, HCCG is thrilled to be working with the Institute for Integrated Transitions
. IFIT is dedicated to helping fragile and conflict-affected states achieve more sustainable transitions out of war, crisis or authoritarianism.
.Our goal is to bring together the bright young minds of HCCG and beyond to tackle real strategic challenges facing teams like the . The day-long event includes opportunities to develop and showcase problem-solving skills and engage with like-minded students.
Participants spend the week working in teams of 3 - 4 members to produce a short slide deck summarizing research and key insights. At the CFAC event’s conclusion, all teams present their findings to HCCG’s Directors and the decks will be passed along to the IFIT team.
The following is the prompt for the event. More information regarding the prompt is released the day before the event. What is the current state of nonviolent negotiation modeling today? We will explore the latest developments, theoretical frameworks, and case studies that highlight the effectiveness and limitations of existing models. How can IFIT develop a market strategy that brings their new framework to the public? We will focus on strategic planning and market positioning for IFIT's innovative nonviolent negotiation framework. We will discuss target audiences, communication strategies, and implementation plans to ensure widespread adoption and influence.
