Conference title:  Towards a Genetic Transformation of Asylum? Legal Pathways and Community Sponsorship: Between Protection and Containment

The conference comprises: three thematic sessions dedicated to the case studies explored by PRIN CoSME, two keynote speeches, one by Elspeth Guild (University of Liverpool), and one by Paula Garcia Andrade (Universidad Autónoma de Madrid), a session hosting the launch of the CoSME book, as well as an institutional brainstorming session with representatives from the European Union Asylum Agency and from national and international institutions and stakeholders. The conference will also host two associated initiatives. Firstly, there will be a Multistakeholder Roundtable on Community Sponsorship, organised by the AMIF Share QSN Plus projectand a Digital Exhibition entitled Women Who Move: A Tribute to Women's Strength on 25/11” to mark the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women.
