Goal: The goal of this video competition is to produce funny, engaging and interesting videos to help educate college students and other young people about the importance of,
and mechanics, of voting.
We are asking individual students, or small teams of students, to produce short (less than 2 minutes) videos on the following topics (see below). You can also select your own topic. We will not accept videos that have partisan or political content or have incorrect information.
Deadline: March 15, 2024, 11:59 PM Eastern
Prize: The winning video will get $500 payable to the students listed on the submission
form.
Eligibility: Students must be enrolled in an institution of higher education in Pennsylvania.
Rules:
1) The entry must be the original work (please no copyright violations).
2) We expect entries to be free of profanity, gratuitous violence, gore and derogatory content. Keep it PG.
3) Entries must be uploaded and submitted online. After uploading to your choice of video host such as Google Drive, YouTube, Dropbox or WeVideo, students must submit the link to their video via this completed online Entry Form below.
4) Video entries will remain the property of the students producing the video, but permission is granted for PHENND and other sponsoring organizations to post the videos on their social media accounts.
Decisions: We hope to announce the winners by the end of March.
