Thank you for your interest in the 2019 SOAR Leader position! The responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to: assisting in the organization and preparation of orientation activities; participating in team development activities and meetings throughout the spring semester; lead small group sessions for new First-Year and Transfer students; acquaint new students with campus services, activities, and building locations; facilitate group and individual discussions with the parents and family members of new students; assist with the advisement and registration processes for Fall semester; display initiative in assisting incoming students with special needs and concerns; and serve as an ambassador for Georgia Southern University. SOAR Leaders must attend all summer orientation sessions. This position lasts through August 2019 semester.
