Celebrating some of the voices in our collections, from William Shakespeare to Octavia E. Butler, this five-day summer institute will guide teachers on how to use Huntington primary sources to explore student voice. Come and learn how to use our sources to inspire your learners to engage in critical thinking, creativity, and visual and performing arts.
Participants will receive a stipend of $500 for participating in all five days of the Teacher Summer Institute. Participants are required to attend a professional development follow-up in the upcoming academic year. Lessons plan creation and submission are a mandatory component of this course.
Lunch is provided each day, and parking is free.
Applications are due January 15, 2019 by 11:59 pm.
