Quality and Safety Survey

Introduction

Infections are common complications of transplantation and contribute significantly to morbidity and mortality. If we can develop quality indicators around infections in transplantation, we will be able to measure our performance and work on improvement measures.

Objective

The survey is a prelude to TID’s efforts to develop quality indicators in transplant infections. We suspect many centres have mechanisms and data that enable them to effectively manage infections after transplant. This survey will establish the extent to which such data are available. The information will enable us to work with international organizations to develop quality indicators in the field of TID. We envisage, in the first instance, a basic set of indicators. In time, they could become more sophisticated and more robust.

Only one person per centre needs to complete the survey. The survey does require knowledge of a few details, so it is best to sit with an administrator in your program while completing the survey.

Thank you very much.
We sincerely appreciate your help, for the betterment of all.

Best regards,
