In lieu of asking a million questions here, this year I think I'll do interviews for HQ applicants
Feel free to write what you want here, but mainly just leave some contact info so we can get in touch!
So what is marecon HQ, anyway?
Basically, the idea is to get a group of anons together in person, rent a big Airbnb for the weekend of the con, and manage the stream from there, in addition to putting together some higher-effort panels live

Everyone chips in with some money for the rental, food is provided, and it's a great time. You're still expected to help things run smoothly, but if everyone's doing their part there should be plenty of opportunity to relax and have fun

If you're able to, I also like giving HQ volunteers more important roles with planning in preparation for the con, like contacting panelists and vendors to make sure everything is ready

HQ volunteers are asked to help pay for the cabin rental, this shouldn't exceed a cost of $500 per person. Is that ok with you?

there may be other HQ anons you can carpool with, though. I'm also hoping to find a place fairly close to a good airport this year
