EVENT RULES & GUIDELINES

The following event rules and guidelines are intended to help produce an event, to ensure the safety of all participants and to meet the requirements of local government permits. Buddy Life Magazine retains the right to refuse entry to anyone declaring false information on their application, or otherwise failing to meet the entry requirements. In any and all circumstances Buddy Life Magazine retains the right to refuse entry to any person.

Event Day
1. The pet dog will be the sole responsibility of the pet parent/handler. Any untoward incident or accident will not be the responsibility of the organizers.
2. A copy of the dog's vaccination chart should be available with the pet parent at the time of entry.

Amendments / Reservations/ Acknowledgements
1. Event organizers reserve the right, to modify, supplement or waive all or part of the event rules.
2. Participants shall be bound by any modification or supplement of the event rules published prior to the event.
3. Failure to follow these event rules, as can be amended, will result in immediate disqualification and removal from official results.

Dogs
1. I agree to clean up after my dog(s), to ensure my dog(s) are leashed at all times and that the leash is no longer than 6 feet.
2. I agree that my dog(s) must be over 12 months of age, that my dog(s) vaccinations are up-to-date and that my dog(s) are licensed.
3. I agree to participate with no more than two dogs.
4. I agree that if my dog(s) behavior is unruly or might prove hazardous to other participants, dogs, or spectators, I may be requested to leave at the discretion of the events team.

Participation
1. Each entrant must complete on line registration.
2. To register for the Dog Fest, you must be 18 years of age or older on event day. Entrants aged 0 to 17 must be entered by a parent/guardian and must be accompanied at the event by a parent/guardian.
3. Each participant must agree to the disclaimer and these terms and conditions before participating in the event. All participants take part at their own risk and a disclaimer waiving all claims against Buddy Life Magazine and any party acting on its behalf must be completed by all entrants.
4. By taking part, all participants confirm that they are happy for their names and any footage or photographs taken during their participation in Dog Fest to be used to publicize any Buddy Life magazine Event.
5. There is no entry fee & this the event is free to register. Entries are non-transferable. Registration closure is determined and announced when event participation reaches the established capacity.
6. There is a Dog Fest podium and backdrop where participants and their dogs can pose for photographs after the event. This will be free of charge and you should bring your own camera/phone for this purpose. If you would like photographs of you on the course, please ask family or friends to take some for you.

Cancellation & Force Majeure

Buddy Life Magazine shall not be deemed to be liable for any failure or delay in performing our obligations for Dogfest for commercial reasons (including but not limited to, an event of force majeure where such event though not directly affecting the Event, may have an adverse effect on the commercial success of the Event), in its sole discretion, be entitled to cancel or postpone the Event. Buddy Life Magazine shall inform the registered participant of its decision as soon as reasonably practicable, and upon receipt of such notice.
