Great - you'd like to learn more! Peninsula Bridge Club's bridge education team will try to help! We offer face-to-face lessons for improvers and intermediate/more advanced players as well as offering a range of links to self-help resources. We will collate your interests and availabilities with others (including our teachers) and get back to you with what we can offer. This may take a while as we need the general minimum of 8 students for our face-to-face lessons at our normal lesson prices.

For New Players - Improve your Declarer Play

This 2 lesson course continues the journey for beginner graduates and uses Joan Butts Book 2 - it covers: Evaluating your hand (minimum, medium and maximum ranges as opener and responder), Developing better judgment (game vs part score), and Planning the play at NT (counting winners and using the tools of promotion, length and finesse) and Planning the play at suit contracts (counting losers and using the tools of discards and trumping to get rid of losers and tips for when to draw or not to draw trumps).
