This is the 1st year of our self care & wellness conference & expo and we are expecting at least 100 participants, 20 workshop presenters and 30 vendors.We want our conference attendees to leave our event feeling like they learned at least 1 new self care/ wellness strategy and they met or reconnected with at least 1 person who enhanced at least 1 self care & wellness area.

Our conference will include multiple workshops sessions in the 2 upstairs breakout rooms & fitness classes in the auditorium, which is downstairs. Vendors will be located in the auditorium. Workshops & fitness classes will be held from from 10am - 1pm and 2pm - 6pm. Lunch is scheduled from 12 - 2 and there is a "speed therapy" event in the auditorium from 12:45 - 1:45 which features 10 - 15 mental health therapists. The speed therapy event will consist of 3 minute rounds where participants visit the table of the 1 therapist at a time and ask the therapist general questions about therapy.

Boxed Lunches from Indulge Catering are available for advance purchase on our eventbrite ticket link for $12 so please indicate on this form that you want to purchase lunch & also pay $12 on eventbrite. If you do not pay on eventbrite then you will not receive a lunch. Event staff & presenters will have lunch provided for them by the conference but to receive lunch, you must indicate that you want lunch on this form and also select the $0 lunch ticket on eventbrite.

Gain Fit is hosting a Glow Dance Fitness Party from 6 - 8 pm featuring multiple fitness instructors. Admission to the Glow party is included in the $25 advance ticket price for the event & the $40 at the door price.

Please note that the Durham Armory does not have an elevator so the 2nd floor class rooms will not be accessible, in person, to some people but we will do our best to make reasonable accommodations using technology. So please fill out the accessibility questions below so that we can successfully plan and meet the needs of all of our conference participants.

For out of town workshop participants, presenters, fitness presenters & vendors, we are researching the possibility of a room block at the Marriott hotel which is located across the street from the Durham Armory. We will update the hotel information soon.

Conference Parking: There is free street parking on Saturdays & Sundays in Durham and there are also 2 parking decks:

Sun 1/12/10 at 8am: Guided Run with Matthew Thompson & BMR run club. Runners will meet on the sidewalk in front of the Durham Armory. Post-run breakfast at 10am in the lobby of the Marriott Hotel (everyone will pay for their own breakfast)

The Durham Armory does not have an elevator so 2nd floor classrooms will not be accessible in person to some people but we will make reasonable accommodations using technology. Fitness classes & vendors will be located on the first floor in the auditorium & the workshops will be held on the 2nd flood? Do you need accommodations for the 2nd floor workshops? *
I understand that advanced tickets can be purchased for $25 on eventbrite until 12pm on sun 1/5/20 . The at the door ticket fee is $40. I am an Event Staff (this does not apply to workshop or fitness presenters) so I will wear an event t-shirt during the event so I am easily identifiable to participants as a person who can answer questions or help them navigate the conference. Please select your t-shirt size. T-shirts are men's sizes.
