Hilltop Elementary: Reserve A Place
Soon, our staff will begin the process of classroom placements for the 2020-21 school year. It is during this time that we ask K - 5th grade parents to fill out a "Reserve A Place" form. Due to the current school closure, we are collecting this information using this Google form.
In May the entire teaching staff will begin cooperatively planning for students' placement for next year. Current classroom teachers, specialists (PE, Music, Library), Learning Support and counselors all work together with the Principal. Our goal is to create the best learning community for each classroom i.e., equitable distribution of students of varying abilities, talents and learning styles.
We do accept family input regarding learning factors that you want us to consider in deciding your child's placement. We do not, however, accept requests for specific teachers. If you have any information you would like us to consider when placing your child in a classroom for the next school year, please email Michelle Howell to request a family input form prior to May 1st.
Please complete the following questions FOR EVERY CHILD currently enrolled at Hilltop between K - 5th grade so that we know which students are returning or not returning to Hilltop for the 2020-21 school year. This form must be completed by May 1st.
