On the Twelfth Day of Christmas, KelSo gives upon to thee... WORT for brewing! Have yourself a brewpiphany!
The KelSo Beer Company Family and Crew invites all homebrewers of New York City to claim, retrieve and ferment wort made at the brewery! Come in person to the taproom on Wednesday Jan 6th and take home wort for fermenting as you please*! *With the condition that you come back and share some of your beer with us of course. We will celebrate the skills and creativity of NYC homebrewers at the KelSo brewery/taproom on Tuesday February 23rd during NYC Beer Week 2016.
Wednesday January 6th, the 12th day of Christmas...is a holiday known as Epiphany or Three Kings Day (
). Our event is in no way related to or associated with any religion. However, nodding towards the impromptu nature of an "epiphany", we will not be disclosing wort specifics until that very morning. This way, brewers can have their own brewpiphanies as to what to brew in time for 2/23/16.. Interested? Sign up today!

*Step 1 - complete this form to claim wort!
*Step 2 - show up at the brewery taproom 1/6/16 at 6:30pm to collect wort with appropriately sized sanitized vessels ready for transportation. As you are aware, brew days (even at breweries) can be unpredictable; wort from the mash tun is expected to be available at 6:30pm, and hopped/post-boil wort is expected to be available around 8:30/9pm. Our taproom will be open from 6pm to 10pm.
*Step 3 - Ferment!
*Step 4 - Return to KelSo Beer Company on on the evening of Tuesday, February 23rd, with your beer. Share and delight in the brewing talents of NYC homebrewers! Specs & details of the event will be sorted and shared soon...
