Are you over the age of 17 at the time of this submission? *
Because the CBOA primarily serves high school and sr. men/women leagues in Calgary, we prefer our referees to be at least 17 years old (older than high school jr. varsity players). There are also extremely limited opportunities to work jr. high games & we do not service minor basketball at all. The CBOA suggest contacting the Calgary Minor Basketball Association which runs the minor basketball league & officials in Calgary. There is information about becoming a referee with them on their website http://cmba.ab.ca/. Once 17, minors should definitely consider attending our clinic for new officials as an entry into higher levels of competition
Why do you want to join the CBOA? *
