Purdue Latin & Ballroom Dance Club - Entertainment Request Form
Please use this form to provide details about your event.

We will then forward to the dancers to see if there is enough interest.
They will take a while to respond, and then we will let you know our decision

Please understand, our dancesport athletes invest a great deal of time and money into their dancing, and their studies. They have a busy training and competition schedule and may not be available to do many appearances. Please be specific about any compensation you can provide to them or the team.

Thanks for your interest in the Purdue Ballroom Dance Team. We look forward to working with you!

Your answer
Is the request for a performance, a lesson, or both? *
Required
How big is the dance floor? *
A typical ballroom floor is 60'x20' and will accommodate any routine. Floors smaller than 12'x12' may be very difficult (but not impossible) for us.
Your answer
What kind of surface is the dance floor? *
wood floor? carpet? cement? Clean unwaxed wood is the best for our suede soled shoes. Outdoor surfaces can be very difficult.
Your answer
Duration *
How much time will be allotted to the Purdue Latin & Ballroom Dance Team? A typical dance is 1-2 minutes. If you require more than 10 minutes of performing time, you will likely need multiple couples to attend.

Your answer
If this is a banquet event, will dinner be provided for the dancers? (boxed, eat with the guests, separately, etc?)
This can really help us convince them to do it.
Your answer
If there is to be dancing afterwards, are the dancers requested to stay and dance?
We do not provide "dance hosts", and cannot require our ladies to dance with your guests, but we might be able to get some dancing going by doing some simple non-intimidating dancing with our own partners.
Your answer
Will you provide compensation for the dancers and/or a donation to the team?
Our best dancers have invested a great deal of money into group classes and private lessons, and are always trying to raise funds to continue their passion.
Your answer
Any further comments or questions? Is there anything else that would help convince our dancers to participate?
Your answer
When do you need our decision by?
