Exciting Central is partnering with the Better Together organization to host a community job fair on Thursday, October 3 from 11 am – 2 pm. We’d love to have you be a part by serving as a volunteer, either prior to the event or on the day of the job fair. Volunteers are asked to attend a weekly meeting (usually on Sundays at 12:30 pm), if possible, leading up to the job fair. Please see Sis. Greeters (Greet jobseekers, community partners, and employers on the day of event and provide a hospitable environment)

Job Coach (Assist jobseekers prior to the job fair with resume and interview prep; help jobseekers identify job opportunities & meet employers during the job fair)

Job Seeker Communicator (Reach out to registered job seekers by email or phone to let them know you are looking forward to serving them at the job fair)

Language Coordinator (Provide translation services to individuals and groups that have language barriers; Spanish and Haitian Creole speakers desired)

Registration (Assist jobseekers who have not pre-registered with completing registration at the event)

Setup/Breakdown (Assist with setup before the event and breakdown afterwards)

Photo/Video Storyteller (Capture as many photos & videos during the event as possible)

Storyteller (Engage with jobseekers who have had a successful experience at the job fair & invite them to share their story for the story wall)
