We are so excited for our first annual Chili Cook Off taking place at SCS Christmas Fest on December 3, 2022 from 5:30-8PM.
The SCS Chili Cook Off is limited to the first 10 entries.
SCS Chili Cook Off rules:
1. Chili may not be made any earlier than 10AM CT on Saturday, December 3, 2022.
2. Chili must be made from scratch; cooking begins with raw meats, vegetables and spices. Beans and pre-made chili mixes are approved ingredients for this chili competition.
3. Chili must be cooked at your home and prepared in a sanitary manner . No stoves or cooking equipment will be provided . We will provide sample cups, spoons and containers for judging samples . Contestants are responsible for supplying all of their own cooking utensils, table, stove, etc.
4. Contestants must bring their chili in a crockpot to school for setup by no later than 5PM.
5. Contestants will have access to power to plug their crockpot in during the event.
6. If your chili contains any type of allergen please let us know so we can mark it accordingly.
7. Voting will take place by attendees from 5:30-7:30PM. The winner will be announced at 7:45PM.
