The Race to Resilience is a global campaign - the sibling to Race to Zero - catalyzing a step-change in global ambition for climate resilience, putting people and nature first in pursuit of a resilient world where we don’t just survive climate shocks and stresses but thrive in spite of them.
Led by the High-Level Climate Champions for Climate Action – Nigel Topping and Gonzalo Muñoz – the goal of Race to Resilience is:
By 2030, to catalyze action by non-state actors that builds the resilience of 4 billion people from groups and communities who are vulnerable to climate risks.
Non-state actor-led regional, national or global initiatives (alliances, networks, partnerships, associations, consortia, platforms etc) are invited to register their interest to join the Race to Resilience by completing the form below.
All expressions of interest will be peer reviewed; with final decisions made by the High Level Champions. Those initiatives successful on meeting the criteria will be formally invited to join the Race to Resilience campaign as a Partner Initiative. Initiatives not meeting the criteria will be advised on how they can still support R2R.
Applications received after 4 May 2021 will be reviewed by July 2021.
Please note that individual companies, cities, regions, NGOs or organizations are not able to join the Race To Resilience on their own, but may do so by joining an approved Race to Resilience initiative. Please see the approved list by visiting this website here:
