2024 Alto Velo Racing Team Application
Application for new and returning team members for both Local and Domestic Elite (travel) teams. Completing this application does not guarantee a spot on either team. 

In addition to completing this survey, applicants are required to participate in one of our recruiting rides. These start at 9am at Summit Bicycles Palo Alto on the following dates. If you are unable to make any of these please make other arrangements to ride with the team.

While the categories in which we compete are often limited by the availability of categories USAC has created, AVRT seeks to provide opportunities for athletes of all gender identities. If you are a transgender, enby, queer, etc. cyclist who is interested in racing but hesitant to enter a sport dominated by cis-men, please consider attending our WTFNB (women, trans, femme, non-binary) only ride or reach out to us directly for more information.

The requirements, expectations, and benefits for AVRT riders are listed in the document here. Please read these. Requirements include starting in at least 7 races during the season, sharing race reports within two weeks of each event, and completing 10 hours of volunteer work (20 for Domestic Elite Team members) such as leading rides, helping in feed zones, putting on Pescadero Road Race, etc.
