SoloCom NYC 2025 Submissions
Thank you for submitting to the 11th Annual Solocom NYC 2025, hosted by the Peoples Improv Theater (The PIT) in New York City!

SoloCom NYC is your chance to follow the fear, take the leap, and perform your original solo performance piece in front of an audience. Brand new solo performers, experienced solo performers, and everyone in between, are encouraged to submit. Had the worst year of your life? Experienced a milestone? Just need to get something off your chest? SoloCom NYC 2025 is your opportunity to make art out of it.

The hope is that all SoloCom NYC pieces will feature at least 88% new material, so use this as an opportunity to try something new and see what works and what needs work. Solo performances that debuted at Solocom NYC have gone on to successful runs at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, Off-Broadway, and more! 

SoloCom NYC 2025 will run from Thursday, April 10th - Sunday, April 13th.

The submission fee is $35 and covers the costs associated with producing the festival, including marketing, operations, etc

Technicians and Tech Rehearsals: In an effort to make sure that NY Technicians are paid fairly, equitably and at their own rate, we are asking that performers provide their own technician. Once you have been confirmed, we will provide a list of our best Technicians to choose from. SoloCom NYC performers will be provided with some tech time, relative to the run time of your show. Tech Rehearsals will be held from Saturday, 4/5 - Friday 4/11 8AM - 4PM. Times will be provide with your confirmation.

Submissions will close on Friday, February 14th @ 5pm ET. 
Performers will be notified regarding their acceptance and scheduling by Friday, February 21st @ 5pm ET.
