What is the Backpack Program?
Backpack Programs aim to close the gap in meals for children between Friday lunch and Monday breakfast by providing nutritious meals and snacks over breaks during the school year, such as weekends and longer holidays.
Students will receive a backpack full of nutritional food items from Full Shelf Food Pantry and other local partners each week during the school year. Students will bring this full backpack home at the end of each week and return their empty backpack to the office the following Monday for it to be refilled.
The only information needed to get started is your child's first and last name along with their school.
This program is available for the first 30 children that sign up.
