Between faculty / staff and the students, we anticipate feeding approximately 300 Huskies. You are not expected to feed 300 people with 1 dish. Make your dish as you typically would for your family and one of our volunteers will assist the day of the event with cutting serving sizes to allow for more sampling. We do our best to allow everyone a taste and we have some amazing cooks out there who are always so generous with their culinary donations.
Help us make this year's event a success by sending a dish to school with your child on February 14th.
Please make note of the following food/drink delivery schedule:
1. Beverages can be delivered to the front office the week of or at least the day before the luncheon on February 14th.
2. Non-perishable items must be dropped off at the flag pole between 7:30am - 8:15am the morning of the event. Volunteers will be standing by to receive your donations for easy drop off.
3. Perishable items must be delivered to the flagpole between 11:00am and 11:30am the morning of the event. Volunteers will be standing by to receive your donations for easy drop off.
***If your student rides the bus, please ask your student to deliver their contribution to the volunteers at the flagpole upon arrival at school.
REMINDER:All food items need to be in DISPOSABLE containers. There will be NO HEATING or REFRIGERATION available.Don't forget to label your dishes (including Gluten free & Vegan specifications.) Please include the name of your dish, the country of origin and the main ingredients.
For example: Lumpia / Philippines / Spring Roll filled with chopped vegetables and minced pork
We ask that you don't bring dishes that include peanuts.
