The Ropewalk is a regionally acclaimed centre for the arts housing galleries, sculpture garden, coffee shop, and The Ropery Hall – a venue for live music, theatre and cinema within a Grade II listed former rope factory. Other facilities include: a printmaking workshop, artists’ studios and meeting rooms available for outside lets. The Vintage Fair will accommodate most of the venue, including the performance area and outside spaces.
The Vintage Fair is intended to be a celebration of all things vintage, retro and memorable curios. We will book quality performers and dancers and will endeavour to offer bookable workshops from The Ropewalk’s artists on the day, also.
We will work hard in publicising the event by way of flyers, posters, press releases, social media and through our websites. Please help us by providing images and information about your work and sharing the information on your own social media. We also expect our traders and performers to promote the event through their own means, making use of the design work that will be distributed prior to the event.
