We’re excited to host our Robot Zoo + Science Slam on Sunday, May 3 from 1:00–3:00 pm at Tinker Coop! 1310 University Ave in Berkeley.

Schedule:

1:00 – Doors open
1:15 – Science Slam (quick scientist talks)
1:30 - 3:00– Robot Zoo + STEM Fair (hands-on, demos, explore!)
3:00p - short optional presentation by FRC Team #841 (from Richmond)

This is a low-key, high-curiosity event focused on robots and science. At the Robot Zoo, you’ll meet robots built by students, local businesses, and community members. You can ask questions, see them in action, and learn how they work. At the Science Slam, local scientists will share their work in a quick, poster slam format (come at 1p to catch this), followed by time to connect and explore in a relaxed, science-fair-style setting.

This event is designed for curious minds of all ages (best suited for older elementary and up), and is all about community, creativity, and sharing what we love about STEM.
