For all rehearsal and performances, we must have licensed chaperones to supervise and ensure the safety and welfare of all our participants. To enable us to keep the cost of the fees down, we ask that every participant puts forward at least one adult who will be able to chaperone for at least two shifts during the two weeks.
To obtain your license, an application needs to go through to your local authority, the details of which can be found here: https://www.gov.uk/chaperones-child-performers
A volunteer chaperone license comes with a small cost which varies for each local authority (usually between £10 - £70 for a 3 year license)
If you already have a chaperone license, please complete the section below with your details.
If you do not already have a chaperone license and you are able to apply for one, please start the process now with your local authority as it can take up to 3 months for them to process applications. Once your license as come through, please email the details of it through to charlotte.young@parkwoodtheatres.co.uk
