The Volo Kids Foundation is on a mission to use the power of play to build communities of active, resilient, and confident kids through free, quality sports programs. Our goal is to unlock the power of play for every kid, everywhere! By participating as a marathon runner for Team Volo Kids, your commitment ensures equitable access to quality sports across the country.
Requirements:
To be considered for Team Volo Kids, please complete the application below. A member of the Volo Kids staff will reach out to schedule an interview over the next few weeks to determine your eligibility - bibs are limited and the process is highly competitive. Completing this application does not provide you with guaranteed entry or a bib with Team Volo Kids for any of our race offerings. Runners are responsible for paying registration fees through the corresponding marathon facilitator - registration can not be covered by Volo Kids.
Runners with Team Volo Kids - at either the TCS New York City Marathon or Marine Corps Marathon - are required to reach their corresponding fundraising goal by the deadline set forth. Although amounts differ between the two marathons, the same is true: Volo Kids reserves the right to remove you from the team and/or charge you the difference on the deadline provided, if you fail to meet set fundraising goals. The fundraising goal for the TCS New York City Marathon is $3,750, and the fundraising goal for the Marine Corps Marathon is $700.
