Super cool that you're interested in taking up operating at our cozy radio studio!
As an operator at Relate Radio you will oversee everything in and around the recording of our livestreams: you welcome and accommodate the artists, announce the show on our Instagram story, make sure the recorging is going smoothly, and such... Don't worry, it may seem like a lot at first but we will guide you every step of the way. You don't have to operate single handedly until you feel confident enough to do so.
Becoming an operator comes with both responsibilities and perks.
What we ask of you: • Time to operate at least 4hr a month; • Punctual planning; • A keen and critical eye on what we can improve inside Relate Radio.
What we offer: • A warm community of like-minded music lovers with multiple community events; • A large network of artists/organisers/etc in Groningen and other places; Monthly updates and meetings to keep you connected to the operators' community and Relate's affairs; • Guest list/discount tickets to events and partnerships by Relate Radio and it's community; • A space to develop oneself as an artist; • Access to the studio space with professional DJ & recording equipment.
Some other pointers:
- Being a host for Relate Radio is on a voluntary basis!
- In order to keep our streams running smoothly, good communication is key! Your level of involvement can be adjusted to your preferences and is flexible, but expectations need to be clear!
