By becoming part of the association you have the opportunity to participate more fully in the Mount of Oaks life project, promoting and benefiting from the activities developed by us together.
By supporting White Stone associaton (which governs Mount of Oaks), you are supporting the beings who live permanently - animal and human. You are also supporting all those who benefit from this land when they come to visit or take part in a retreat - including all plants and animals that find refuge in this small piece of land.
You also are supporting a model for a low-impact lifestyle and grounded spirituality that serves as hope for those wanting to practice simplicity, locally and further afield.
Overarching Aims of the association:
Legally the association has the aims of promoting health and personal, social, spiritual and ecological well-being through contact with nature. The association aims to be multicultural, multifaith and multilingual.
Our main goals are:
* Creation of a collaborative spaces to promote social, economic and spiritual well being, local economy initiatives, community gatherings and educational opportunities.
* Model and educate about the advantages of a ‘simple lifestyle’ and raise awareness of current environmental issues.
* Promote healthy choices for the consumption and production of local, organic produce.
* Encourage rural ‘ecological educational tourism’ in a sustainable manner, respecting the cultural and local resources.
* Offering accommodation in naturally construction buildings and basic natural camping facilities.
* Promote intercultural and intergeneratioal collaboration.
What are the benefits of becoming an associate?
By paying the annual 25E fee you will able to avail of some discounts on all Mount of Oaks products, events and accommodation. And more importantly you join a family of supporters committed to these ways of being. You are also welcome to suggest events or activities to host at the Mount of Oaks, or in conjunction with the association, provided they are congruent with the aims and objectives of the association.

* Incentivar o "turismo ecológico educativo" de forma sustentável, respeitando os recursos culturais e locais.
* Oferecer alojamento em edifícios de construção natural e instalações básicas de campismo natural.
* Promover a colaboração intercultural e intergeracional.

Ao pagar a quota anual de 25E, poderá beneficiar de alguns descontos em todos os produtos, eventos e alojamento do Monte dos Carvalhos. E o mais importante é que se junta a uma família de apoiantes empenhados nesta forma de estar. Poderá também sugerir eventos ou actividades a realizar no Monte dos Carvalhos, ou em conjunto com a associação, desde que sejam congruentes com os objectivos da associação.
