Landlord Accountability Survey
Information on landlords can be tricky to pin down, and that harms the abilities of tenants to become properly educated of exactly who owns their homes. The goal of this survey is to be the beginning stages of a grand public database of local landlords, their properties, and their behaviors for the express purpose of aiding in the growth of tenant unions in order to ensure our collective fair treatment and more reasonable rent costs.

Does your landlord respect your privacy? (i.e. Does your landlord give you a proper 24-hour notice before entering your home or having others enter your home?)
*
Was the lease agreement process a positive or negative experience for you? (i.e. Were you rushed or otherwise pressured to sign a document you didn't fully understand? Or was the document written in a seemingly purposefully confusing manner?)
*
If the above was negative, would you be able to go into detail? How was the experience negative?
Is your landlord flexible with the date rent gets paid?  (i.e. Is the landlord up for negotiation for the payment date in case of an emergency?)
*
If the above was answered "No" would you be able to go into detail about the landlords claimed circumstances for refusal to allow payment flexibility?
When was the last time your rent was adjusted?
*
Was that rent adjustment an increase or a decrease?
*
When was the last time your lease agreement was changed?
*
How would you describe the lease agreement change?
*
Are you informed of any changes to your rental responsibilities in a reasonable time frame? (i.e. at least a month before any such changes are officially made.)
