The Code Blue Overnight Emergency Warming Center provides a cold weather, overnight center for men, women and children in accordance with Chester County’s definition of Code Blue that is date defined – mid-November to mid-April. The intent of the center is to provide a place to stay for the night for anyone who is in need. Our guests are welcome as long as they act in a manner that allows us to provide a safe and welcoming environment for all.
The program is provided from 8 PM to 8 AM, seven days a week, with one paid and trained staff member and two volunteers per shift each night. There are also daytime volunteer opportunities as well.
