Thank you for your interest in the BLI 2024 - 2025 Master Class Series!
   
The Business and Leadership Institute for Early Learning (BLI) Master Class Series will empower you as a business professional and entrepreneur in the industry of childcare. The course is designed specifically for early learning center or home based owners or operators as well as those planning on opening a childcare business. Our curriculum V'locity, focuses on creative business strategies with an emphasis on quality care and education.    
 
If selected, participation is fully funded.  Upon completion of the Master Class Series course requirements, you will be awarded CEUs. The course requires you to attend all four classes, held one Saturday a month, and complete a business plan that addresses your unique challenges and opportunities for success.    
 
As a participant, you are also required to attend our graduation event where you will receive your certificate of course completion.
 
Throughout the Master Class Series, you will work in groups and receive additional support from an assigned mentor, who is a graduate of the Institute. To further assist you, BLI conducts homework sessions as part of the Saturday workshops.  
 
Upon completion of the program and submission of your business plan, you will be invited to meet with local agencies that may offer a continuum of business consultation at no charge to you. At that time, they will help you analyze business challenges and opportunities as well as identify next steps in implementing your business plan. There is no charge for this service.
 
BLI is a growing community of committed small business early learning entrepreneurs.  Upon graduation, you become part of this Alumni group and, as such, will be invited to attend alumni programming that may take place throughout Florida. We also hope you will continue participating with us as part of our BLI Business Council or on our BLI Early Learning Conference Committee or as a Peer Mentor.   
 
We will, from time to time, request that you complete surveys and / or discuss your business progress and challenges with us so that we can analyze and measure program outcomes. The information we obtain from you is confidential and helps us build our program and evaluate our impact.
