BARKADELIC: A benefit for The Footbridge Foundation and The Cannoli Fund

Thank you for your interest in being a vendor at BARKADELIC! We are so happy to highlight the work of two Southtown area non-profits who work tirelessly to nurture, protect and find forever homes for lost and abandoned animals in the Southtown area. The Cannoli Fund provides financial assistance and other resources for spaying and neutering, medical care, and educates the community on the humane treatment of animals. The Footbridge Foundation’s mission is to unite stray dogs and cats with fosters and forever families. Despite the overwhelming number of stray animals that find their program, they never stop working to provide medical treatment, necessary supplies, and safe spaces for animals to acclimate to a loving environment. The Cannoli Fund and The Footbridge Foundation work together to raise awareness about the plight of abandoned animals in our community and are 100% volunteer run.

50% of the vendor fees for this event will go directly to our charities. In addition, 100% of the suggested donation at the door and raffle ticket sales will be split between the two organizations. We are also raising money online through our Facebook event. We will also have some artists and performers on hand who will be donating the lion’s share of their proceeds from the day. Among them are a caricature artist who will be creating portraits of people and their pets and an aerialist troop.

Both organizations will be at the event to provide information about their services as well as a bunch of adorable dogs and cats that are ready to find their forever homes.

We are looking for vendors who sell vintage or sustainable products, upcycled items, pet related products and cruelty free products. The application link is above, please fill it out as soon as possible. Vendors who meet the criteria will be accepted on a first come first serve basis. All vendor spaces in the main space are roughly 7x7 ft., Cube Gallery and Lobby spaces are roughly 6x6 ft. We ask that you bring your own tables, extension cords, power strips, accent lighting etc. We provide chairs, WiFi, electricity and technical staff. All vendor fees must be paid prior to the event.

*Please note tents and canopies are not allowed for outdoor spots due to ADA regulations. Please be acutely aware that it will be August in Texas before requesting an outdoor space. Outdoor spaces can only accommodate a single 6ft table and/or racks placed flush against the building or two tables side by side. 4 ft. of egress must be maintained at all times.
