Join us to take part in an evening of movement, sound, and breath practices that settle the mind and usher us into deep meditative states. It is here where we awaken the healing spiritual energy in the body, connect with our intuition, and recognize the ancient wisdom and infinite love that exists within each of us.

This class is for all-levels, beginners and experienced yogis alike.

Please arrive 5-10 minutes early to get settled on your mat. Bring your own water and wear comfortable clothing. Mats, blankets, and other yoga supplies are available at the studio and free to use.

About the Facilitators:

Sara Jennings (she/her) is a Certified Kundalini Instructor based in Philadelphia. With a specific training focus on kriya yoga, breathwork, and mantra meditation, Sara leads regular classes in-person and online. She began practicing yoga at the start of the pandemic and spent a year in San Diego where she was exposed to the Kundalini style of yoga with her teacher, Har Dev Singh Khalsa in Encinitas, CA. Sara completed her 200 hour teacher training in the spring of 2022. She enjoys practicing many types of yoga including Vinyasa, Yin, and Yoga Nidra. Sara is also a political organizer and mother. She lives in Queen Village.

Sara’s classes are for all levels, from beginner to experienced yogis. Her offerings incorporate movement, breath, mantra, and meditation to still the mind, allowing the spirit to experience states of stillness, wisdom, and bliss.

Joshua Evans is a 200hr RYT, 95hr RCYT, certified 100hr
PT(pranayama teacher)and a certified 200hr Himalayan Kriya Yoga teacher. He currently teaches pranayama and conscious breathing at Palo Santo Yoga. Joshua is a stay at home dad of two, former chef and a local South Philly resident.
